Some days…

Some days, just start out badly.

Some days, you just get three hours of sleep.

Some days, you wake up with a splitting headache because you only got three hours of sleep.

Some days, your husband fusses as he walks out without breakfast because of your splitting headache because you only got three hours of sleep.

Some days, your children wake up in bad moods because they heard your husband fussing because he didn’t get breakfast because you woke up with a splitting headache because you only got three hours of sleep.

Some days, some one shows up at your door before you’ve finished your chores because you’re dealing with cranky children who woke up too early because your husband was fussing because he didn’t get breakfast because you woke up with a splitting headache because you only got three hours of sleep.

Some days, everything becomes a chore because your children are cranky from being woken up too early by your husband who was fussing because he didn’t get breakfast because you woke up with a splitting headache because you only got three hours of sleep.

Some days, you just want to cry because it seems everything is going wrong.

Some days, the smallest bit of thoughtfulness brings you to tears when someone took a moment to think of you and reminded you that actually mean something outside of stacks of dishes, loads of laundry, cranky kids, missed breakfasts, splitting headaches, and three hours worth of sleep.

Some days, it’s a little thing that make all the difference.

Thank you, Ashley!
