The Thanksgiving Menu

A few years ago, my family would have been completely content with green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and turkey for Thanksgiving. I had to go ruin that though and start cooking ‘fancier’ food and this year, I’m only making things that have been requested… Which doesn’t narrow it down too much! I strongly recommend that you plan your menu a couple weeks in advance and start stocking up because otherwise, you’ll be fighting for the last bag of fresh cranberries in the store at 10pm Wednesday night. Not that I would know! {ahem}

In case you’re still looking for something to fill a gap, here’s what you’d find if you showed up at my house at 5pm Thanksgiving Day, with links to the original recipe (because I modify all my recipes and don’t have time to post all the changes).  It’s not entirely original- most, if not all, of the recipes come from Martha Stewart’s website, because I love Martha Stewart’s food. (And she’s 1/2 of the inspiration for my ‘handle’, BeyondMartha! But, that’s a post for another day!)
